This time of year, Danny and I always reflect back and count our blessings for all the big and little things that perfectly aligned for us to become a family. So many of the special moments in THERE take place in December:
In 2000—
December 4th: Danny appears in court, and the Judge asks him to adopt.
December 14th: We visit with and hold Kevin for the first time.
December 20th: Judge Cooper decides to make us parents in 48 hours.
December 22nd: Kevin comes home.
In 2002—
December 17th: Our adoption is finalized, and we become a forever family.
